Farm Operations
Manager/Supervisor

Position Overview

Pure Grass Farm is seeking an experienced, high-integrity Farm Manager to oversee our regenerative livestock operations and manage our growing national e-commerce fulfillment. This is a dual-focus role requiring technical expertise in pasture-based animal agriculture and the organizational discipline to manage inventory and nationwide shipping.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who understands the complexities of regenerative soil health and can efficiently navigate the logistics of a direct-to-consumer meat business.

  • Execute daily grazing rotations for grass-fed cattle and sheep to maximize soil health and forage quality.

  • Oversee the management and health of pasture-raised poultry and egg production.

  • Maintain farm infrastructure, including fencing, water systems, and equipment.

  • Monitor livestock health and implement preventive care in accordance with regenerative standards.

2. Inventory & Fulfillment Logistics

  • Manage the full lifecycle of meat inventory, from intake to final sale.

  • Oversee the "Pick and Pack" process for nationwide UPS shipping, ensuring cold-chain integrity and a professional presentation.

  • Utilize our website platform (puregrassfarm.com) to track stock levels and fulfill customer orders accurately.

  • Coordinate the receiving of meat products from processors and supplies from vendors.

3. Promotion & Growth

  • Act as a brand ambassador to promote Pure Grass Farm products to local and national markets.

  • Assist in digital marketing efforts and website updates to drive sales and customer engagement.

  • Provide regular reports on inventory turnover, shipping efficiency, and livestock performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional farming experience, specifically within a regenerative agriculture framework.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Managed Intensive Rotational Grazing (MIRG) and soil biology.

  • Logistical Proficiency: Proven experience in inventory management and shipping/fulfillment (e-commerce experience is a significant plus).

  • Professionalism: Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the farm to customers and partners.
